Analog Submission Press
Founded in 2017, Analog Submission Press is an independent small press based in York, England, dedicated to literary risk and the conviction that there is still room for writing that doesn't fit neatly into the mainstream — as long as you're willing to assemble it by hand.
ASP publishes small-format books of poetry, prose, and hybrid writing. Each edition is hand-assembled and printed in small runs. Once sold out, titles are not reprinted. Since switching on the printer, the press has published over 160 titles, which is either a testament to persistence or a reasonable definition of compulsion.
Every copy is numbered, hand-stamped, and produced in-house. The press draws on DIY ethics and the legacy of small press publishing, where the act of making is inseparable from the work itself.

The Small Run
The Small Run is an occasional newsletter from Analog Submission Press. It features conversations with authors, reflections on small press publishing, and previews of forthcoming editions. Each issue extends the life of the books beyond their print run — which is usually twenty or thirty copies, so the extending is genuinely useful.
The newsletter is deliberately infrequent. ASP publishes slowly, with attention to form and material presence, and the newsletter runs on the same logic: no weekly quota, no performance of productivity. A small run, arriving when there is something to say.
